[Catching her in the lobby! She may or may not have some, uh, light scratches on her face, but that doesn't stop her from offering Lup a smile and a bow when she sees her.]

Hello! How are you today?

[ ... why is she scratches, stop fighting bears ]

Uhhhh. Peachy-keen, thanks for asking. [ she says, where she's sprawled out on a chair. squint. ] What's up with your face?

[Sometimes... things happen. She lifts a hand to one of the scratches, mindful not to end up poking her glasses instead, and frowns.]

Did you happen to see the note in the kitchen? Tsukino-san and I fell into the river last night, and we ran into some, ah... trouble.

[evocationary]

I sure did. [ she does not move from the chair, but. ] Tsu... who, what. Who is that.

[ a beat. ] The note said mermaids, which is weird because they don't typically live in freshwater.

Usagi Tsukino. She's blond, and usually wears her hair like... [She gestures at her head with both of her hands, balling her hands into fists to imitate Usagi's hair dango, and then lowering them to imitate her pigtails.] This. Twin tails.

[Or, something like that.]

... Honestly, I totally didn't think to question it. But it must be because this is another world, right? The rules ought to be different.

week zero, friday.

[siblingless]

[She hasn't completely recovered from the shock when she walks into the kitchen, but that won't stop her from being polite. With a brief bow, her expression downtrodden, she murmurs a quiet:]

... Sorry, would you rather be left alone?

[evocationary]

[ lup, who is lost in thought, startles about six feet into her grave at the sudden voice, and then - sighs out a noise and puts her coffee cup on the counter with a clatter. ]

Jesus. Be louder next time. No, I don't care. What was your name again?

[Wincing a bit as soon as she realizes what she's done. Welp.]

Ah— I'm sorry! I didn't mean to startle you.

[She would, maybe, benefit from being a little less sneaky. Opening her mouth, she... closes it a moment later, her eyebrows furrowed. After a moment:]

I'm Yoshizawa.

[evocationary]

It's fine. Someone got murdered, or dead, whatever, we're all a little spooked. [ a beat. she saw that brief pause... ]

... You sure about that?

I'm sure. Yoshizawa is my surname.

[ lup is just chilling here in the lobby, staring at the ceiling. what a bad day huh. ]

[It sure was bad! She's mostly sniffling by the time she gets to the lobby, intent of making a beeline for the kitchen, but she pauses when she spots her.]

... Lup-san, are you okay?

[Probably not, but. Them votes.]

[evocationary]

I have been better!

[ she says, sprawled out on the couch. ] But that's not news, huh? It's fine, I just shook an innocent kid down for his valuables and then sent him to his death.

... You didn't send him to his death. [Firmly. Or, as firmly as she can when she keeps sniffling.] Everyone came to their own conclusions, and voted accordingly. It isn't any individual person's fault.

[evocationary]

[ she peers over. ]

Do you actually believe that?

week three, tuesday.

[siblingless]

[Kigu shopping? It's kigu shopping time. She looks over, curiously, when she spots Lup going through the kigus.]

Have you found something you like, Lup-san?

[evocationary]

[ she's got a few put aside - a mongoose, a wolf, and a swan, so far.

she's about to answer, and then at the end of that, she flinches. a beat. ]

-- Uh, sure! For sure. [ she says, focused on the racks. ] Sooo many choices.

[Uh.

Hm.]

... Is everything alright? Are you feeling well?

[evocationary]

Yep. [ her tone is flat. ] Totally fine. It's fine.

[ aggressive! clothes looking! ]

[... Does she press?

She does not know Lup well enough to press.

Hm. Yoshizawa will remember this.]

anyway, she nudges yoshizawa with her hip when she sees her, grinning. ]

Sumire immediately beams at her, despite the terrible joke.]

Lup-san! Or— Ah, I heard they call you Rup-san now? [Quick bow!!] It's been a while! How are you?

Nah, nah, it's Lup again. It was Ruby, because I forgot my dang name.

But that's all back now. I'm - uh, better than I have been, actually. Are you good?

I'm okay! I'm just... really happy we're all together again. [No more graveyard, thank god.] And relieved our memories are back, as well!

No kidding. I was getting sick of being swiss cheese.
